IMPROVE THE LIFE OF YOUR CVT BELT

IMPROVE THE LIFE OF YOUR CVT BELT
For a better performance on your CVT and life of your drive belt for UTV/ATV it is VERY important to follow these steps:

-Make sure that the transmission discs (clutch) are in good condition, WITHOUT dust or rubber pieces from the old belt.

-Check constantly that your clutch discs are not scratched or have any metal particles that could damage your belt.

Use the right transmissions in difficult terrain, such as double traction or "L" (low) to avoid over-revving the transmission. This will add a lot of friction/heat between the pulley and the drive belt.

-DO NOT use any lubricant for the belt, it is NOT necessary to lubricate the drive belt.

Avoid over-spinning the transmission when it comes in contact with water (crossing rivers or large puddles), water + excessive friction of the belt with the disc, can damage your belt quickly.

-Check that the drive pulley and discs are well aligned.
